These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your (“User,” “you,” or “your”) use of Axelo’s Platform. By registering or using the Platform, you and your parent or guardian agree to these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Eligibility
Teen Users: Must be aged 13–17 and have verifiable parental or guardian consent.
Parents/Guardians: Must be at least 18 years old and able to provide proof of relationship.
Account Creation and Security
Each teen user must register with a unique mobile number verified by a parent/guardian.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities under their account.
Immediately notify us of any unauthorized account access.
Acceptable Use
Users must engage respectfully and lawfully. Prohibited conduct includes harassment, hate speech, explicit content, impersonation, hacking, or reverse-engineering the Platform.
Any content or behavior indicating self-harm or harm to others will trigger our safety protocols and may result in account suspension or termination.
Service Description
We facilitate connections between teen users and therapists, mentors, and AI avatars.
Licensed professionals and vetted mentors retain full responsibility for clinical or advisory services.
We do not record session transcripts; only anonymized summaries are generated and stored for improvement purposes.
Intellectual Property
All Platform content, including software, designs, and AI models, is owned by us or our licensors.
Users retain ownership of content they submit (e.g., messages), but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use De-identified summaries for service delivery and improvement.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from Platform use.
Teen users should not rely solely on the Platform in emergencies; always seek immediate in-person help when needed.
Indemnification
Parents/guardians agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Axelo.org, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from teen users’ breach of these Terms.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, US , without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in state of California, with parental involvement for minors, pursuant to the rules of American Arbitration Association (AAA).
Termination and Suspension
Users or their guardians may terminate accounts at any time by writing to us to at support@axelo.org.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations or safety concerns, providing notice unless immediate action is required to protect user safety.
Modifications to Terms
We may amend these Terms with at least 30 days’ notice posted on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
